Diva Challenge #57-UMT v.1

This week’s challenge was to use a pattern that was created by one someone who has developed their own personal Zentangle pattern (UMT-Use My Tangle). The pattern chosen for this week was Sanibelle. The above Zentangle was by third attempt at using this pattern, I did not like how the other two turned out. The irony is that this piece is part of a homework assignment from Suzanne Wilka of Tinkered Art. Another women and I are currently being tutored by Suzanne in preparation for the upcoming CZT training in two week. For this assignment Debbie drew the string and I was to fill it in. I am quite pleased with this result and happy that I could complete the challenge and the homework assignment with the same Zentangle!

Great job on the challenge and your homework! Looks like you had fun with this!

I love the strong, graphic quality of your tile and the way the black "frame" interlocks with the tangles.

Love your use of the Sanibelles and the quilt like appearance, with the over-under placement. Nice work.
